Return, exchange, cancellation, and modification policy of Alqafalat Althakiyah Commercial Establishment (Smart Locks Store) Alqafalat Althakiyah Commercial Establishment is committed to providing a fair and transparent shopping experience for its customers, and this policy clarifies the terms governing returns, exchanges, cancellations, and modifications in a way that balances the interests of the customer and the store, without conflicting with the approved warranty policy. First: Returns and Exchanges 1. Defective or non-conforming products Return or exchange requests are accepted if there is a manufacturing defect or a significant discrepancy from the description or displayed images. The request must be submitted within a maximum of 3 working days from the date of receiving the product. For smart locks, returns are accepted even if the packaging is opened, provided the defect or non-conformance is proven. The product is subject to technical inspection before approving the request. 2. Intact (non-defective) products Returns or exchanges are accepted only if the product: - Is unused - Is in its original condition - Has proper packaging and all accessories The request must be submitted within a maximum of 48 hours from the date of receipt. The customer bears the shipping and return costs. 3. Shipping and return fees If shipping is free, the customer pays: - 30 SAR shipping fee - 30 SAR return fee If the shipping fee was paid in advance, only the return fee is deducted. Electronic or bank transfer payment fees, if any, are deducted at a rate not exceeding 2% of the order value. 4. Refund mechanism The amount is refunded after product inspection within a maximum of 14 working days. Refunds are made via: - Same payment method - Store wallet - Bank transfer (with deduction of transfer fees if applicable) Second: Cancellation Policy 1. Cancelation before shipping The customer can request to cancel the order before it is shipped without any fees. If the order has begun processing, the store has the right to deduct any operational costs incurred. 2. Cancelation after shipping Order cannot be canceled after it has been shipped. In this case, the order is subject to the return policy outlined above. 3. Special or project orders Special, customized, or project orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable after approval or commencement of execution. Third: Modification Policy 1. Modify order before shipping Order (product, address, delivery method) can be modified before shipping, subject to availability. Price differences or new delivery times may apply. 2. Modify order after shipping or installation Order cannot be modified after shipping. If installation has been done, the customer cannot request modification or return unless a confirmed manufacturing defect exists. Fourth: Installation and Return If the product includes free installation service and installation has been performed, and the customer wishes to return: The cost of installation, amounting to 150 SAR, will be deducted from the refundable amount. If it is clear that the product does not conform to the description before installation, no installation fees are charged to the customer. Fifth: Important Exceptions This policy does not cover the following cases: - Misuse or negligence - Intentional breakage or damage - Battery depletion - Installation or maintenance by unapproved parties - Malfunctions caused by the internet or applications - Special or project orders These cases are subject to the approved warranty and maintenance policies. Sixth: General Provisions The store reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange request that does not comply with this policy. All requests are subject to inspection before approval.
